Business Operations Analyst – Bay Area
Bandwidth IG, LLC (“BIG Fiber”) Business Operations Analyst – Bay Area
BIG Fiber builds and operates mission-critical fiber infrastructure that underpins the world’s most innovative companies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Atlanta and Greater Portland, Oregon. We’re a fast-growing, nimble company with the agility of a start-up and the vision to transform how critical network assets are delivered and managed.
The Opportunity
BIG Fiber is looking for a technically capable, organized, and proactive Business Operations Analyst to support our business systems, operational processes, and key initiatives across the organization.
This cross-functional role works across departments to improve how our systems and processes support BIG. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, coordinating projects, working with technology and data, and turning business needs into practical solutions.
The Role
Reporting to the VP of Business Operations, your day one priority will be serving as internal project lead for BIG’s NetSuite implementation, through go-live targeted for April 2027. You will coordinate across internal teams and our implementation partner, manage project timelines and deliverables, gather and document business requirements, track issues and dependencies, coordinate testing and data migration, and help drive the implementation to a successful launch.
Beyond the NetSuite implementation, this role will support the VP of Business Operations in managing and improving BIG Fiber’s business systems, operational processes, and cross-functional initiatives.
Day to day, you will also help teams manage projects related to customer services, coordinate operational activities and follow-ups, maintain project records, and track status and action items to keep work moving across teams. Additional responsibilities include gathering business requirements, improving workflows, supporting system configuration and administration, analyzing data, documenting processes, and keeping information accurate and current across BIG’s systems. You will develop a strong understanding of BIG’s dark fiber business, operational processes, and end-to-end customer lifecycle to effectively support projects and teams across the organization.
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical and systems foundation who also understands biz ops — someone comfortable working with people, managing projects, digging into processes and data, and flexible to meet day-to-day operational needs as priorities evolve.

Business Systems & Operations
· Support the VP of Business Operations in improving and maintaining BIG’s business systems, operational processes, and day-to-day business activities.
· Support the admin and day-to-day management of Salesforce, NetSuite, and other business apps, including system configuration, data management, reporting, troubleshooting, user support, and maintenance.
· Support day-to-day operational activities, including creating and maintaining project records, processing operational transactions, updating project and service information, tracking action items, and helping teams keep work moving through completion.
· Help coordinate customer opportunities and service implementation projects, working with Sales, Service Delivery, Operations, Finance, Legal, customers, vendors, and other external partners.
· Maintain accurate and complete information across business systems and help identify and resolve data quality, process, and system issues.
· Gather and document business requirements, identify operational needs, and support the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, integrations, automation, and reporting solutions.
· Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and system documentation to support consistent operations, system usage, and knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications
· 2–4 years of experience in business systems, technical project coordination, systems implementation, Salesforce administration, business operations, accounting or related role.
· Strong technical background with an understanding of business systems, data, and technology.
· Experience managing or coordinating projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
· Hands-on experience with Salesforce or another CRM/ERP platform; Salesforce administration experience is strongly preferred.
· Comfortable working with system configuration, data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and business applications.
· Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills and comfortable working with, analyzing, and reconciling business data.
· Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable working with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.
· Proactive, resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and problems through completion.
Experience with NetSuite, system integrations, automation tools, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, DocuSign, or AI tools is a plus.
Previous experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, or data centers is also a plus, but not required. The successful candidate should be interested in developing a strong understanding of BIG Fiber’s dark fiber business and end-to-end customer lifecycle.
